Only fingerprint will not get your aadhaar card number. There are many methods to extract Aadhaar card number. In that I will discuss the method by which you can get the Aadhaar card number very quickly.

               i) Call UIDAI's helpline number 1947 and tell the customer care that your Aadhaar card is lost. They will ask your name, date of birth, father's name, pin code number, address etc. from you and they will verify it. If the information given by you is correct they will register a complaint number regarding your complaint and tell you the same and it is also sent to your mobile through SMS. After that you have to wait patiently for some time.

After a few days you will call 1947 again, if you tell the complaint number by calling the customer care, they will tell you your aadhaar card number or you can go to the official website of aadhaar card and check it online with the complaint number.

ii) If that still doesn't solve the problem then you need to go one step further. You have to apply for a new Aadhaar card at any Aadhaar Enrollment Center. From there you will get an enrollment number. You will check online with that number after few days. You will see that you already have aadhar card there.

But now you will not get your aadhaar number. Now you call 1947 again and file a complaint that your aadhaar card is lost. State your problem and enrollment number received there. Enrollment number, date and time written next to the number. Now you will get a complaint number from there.

After 15 to 20 days call 1947 and you will get your Aadhaar card number if you tell this complaint number. You can check the status of your complaint on the official website of Aadhaar card. The official website is given below for your convenience.
